IE6 was released way back in 2002, and since IE8 is out now, and since there are so many other superior browsers, I see no point in investing the energy it takes to accommodate IE6.
I apologize for any inconvenience you may suffer as a result, but it's not nearly as much inconvenience as web developers go through, trying to mitigate the various problems that arise with old programming.
